R&D Services<\/strong> is a monthly subscription for clients who want TNR Development Studio available to build whatever comes next<\/em>: experiments, prototypes, internal tools, custom WordPress features, integrations, automations, performance improvements, and other one-off ideas that don\u2019t fit neatly into a fixed-scope project.<\/div>\n
This is ideal when your roadmap changes often, you want to test ideas quickly, or you need a senior developer on-call to turn \u201crandom projects\u201d into real deliverables.<\/div>\n

What\u2019s included<\/h3>\n

  • Discovery + planning<\/strong>\u00a0for each request (requirements, approach, estimated effort)<\/li>\n
  • Prototyping \/ proof-of-concepts<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Custom development<\/strong>\u00a0(WordPress, PHP, web tooling, integrations, etc.)<\/li>\n
  • Testing + iteration<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Documentation\/hand-off notes<\/strong>\u00a0as needed<\/li>\n
  • Ongoing prioritization<\/strong>\u00a0of requests in a shared queue<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    How work is handled<\/h3>\n

    • Client submits requests as they come up<\/li>\n
    • TNR prioritizes requests with the client (what\u2019s most valuable first)<\/li>\n
    • Work is delivered in ongoing increments each month<\/li>\n
    • Requests can be refined as you learn (that\u2019s the point of R&D)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Setup fee (non-refundable)<\/h3>\n
      The $1,000 non-refundable setup fee<\/strong> covers onboarding and ramp-up, such as:<\/div>\n

      • Access + environment setup (hosting, repos, staging, credentials)<\/li>\n
      • Initial discovery and backlog creation<\/li>\n
      • Baseline review of existing systems and constraints<\/li>\n
      • Establishing workflow, communication, and delivery cadence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Important terms (recommended to include)<\/h2>\n

        • Not a fixed-scope project:<\/strong>\u00a0This subscription is for variable, evolving work.<\/li>\n
        • Prioritization:<\/strong>\u00a0Work is completed in priority order; lower-priority items may roll forward.<\/li>\n
        • No guarantees of specific deliverables per month:<\/strong>\u00a0Output depends on complexity and scope of requests.<\/li>\n
        • Non-refundable setup fee:<\/strong>\u00a0The $1,000 setup fee is non-refundable once paid.<\/li>\n
